If you have a column with comma-separated or semi-colon-separated values, you can create a list property augmenting that column and create a tag cloud for the property.

    1. Build >
    2. Edit >
    3. Add Property >
    4. List >
    5. Come up with a property name for display. Ideally, this would be something different from the heading of the column you're augmenting.
    6. Select the list pattern. I'd recommend semi-colon-separated values because comma-separated values can cause problems with CSV files.
    7. Select the column you're augmenting.

Now, add a tag cloud widget with the new property as its property value.

You'll see that the tag cloud will be composed of individual item values, not of combined row values.

    Hope this helps!

See http://viewshare.org/views/ptrourke/sophocles-multivalue-test/ for an example (I'll be deleting that view after you see it).

The geocoding service behind Viewshare has some difficulty resolving street-level coordinates. Here's one way you can do it yourself:

If you go to http://www.geonames.org/maps/osm-reverse-geocoder.html and look up an address, a Google map will be displayed showing you the general area of the address. From there you can zoom in if necessary, and then click on the "webservice" link, which will give you latitude and longitude values. You then place all the latitude and longitude values in a "Coordinates" column in your spreadsheet in this form:

    Coordinates
    36.149032, -86.81401
    38.808777,-77.066075

After you upload the spreadsheet, make sure to edit your view (in the Build page) and set the column to be a "Location." That should enable you to map the locations.

I believe that the cursor that warns that you cannot alter the URL in the embed window (which has a barred red circle) may be misleading you into believing that you cannot copy the embed script.

If you are seeing the barred red circle in the cursor, please try to copy the embed script anyway. You should get this script:

    <script id='freemix-embed' src='http://viewshare.org/views/UMiamiLibraries/public-health-initiatives-in-mexico-central-south/embed.js'; type='text/javascript'></script>

I've tried reproducing the "Viewing [...] a view doesn't work in operating systems with Polish localization" issue by running a Live CD of Ubuntu 14.04 Desktop under Polish localization, and navigating in Firefox 31.0 to http://viewshare.org/views/DOVE/desegregation-of-virginia-education-dove/ with all three of the default UTF-8 encoding, ISO Central European encoding, and the Windows Central European encoding selected. I am able to see the view. I was also able to create a view with a CSV file (but it was in UTF-8 encoding, not 8859-2).

Would you mind providing more detail on your issue? Is it true for all views, or simply for views you are trying to create? Is the problem that your the views aren't showing? Where is your ability to build a view failing?

Also, a quick question: do you have JavaScript disabled?

    Thanks!
